Eline Electrics
Terms of Service
Last updated 8 May 2026
These terms apply when you request, accept, or use services from Eline Electrics ("we", "us", "our"). By submitting a quote request or accepting a quote you agree to these terms.
1. Who we are
Eline Electrics is a licensed Victorian electrical contractor based in Melbourne. All electrical work is performed by REC-licensed electricians and certified by an independent inspector where the regulations require it.
2. Quotes and pricing
Written quotes are valid for the period stated on the quote document (typically 30 days). Prices are quoted in Australian dollars and include GST unless otherwise stated. Site conditions discovered during the work that materially differ from what we could see when quoting may require a variation; we will discuss any variation with you before performing additional work.
3. Bookings and deposits
For larger jobs we may require a deposit (typically 10–30%) to secure stock and the install date. Deposits are credited against the final invoice and are refundable if we cancel the job, less any non-refundable supplier costs already incurred on your behalf.
4. Performing the work
We'll perform the work to the standard of a competent, licensed electrician and to AS/NZS 3000 (the Wiring Rules) and any other applicable standards. You agree to provide safe access to the property, working power and water during the install, and to notify us of any hazards we wouldn't reasonably know about.
5. Warranties
We provide a 10-year workmanship warranty on installations covered by this clause, in addition to manufacturer product warranties. Warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, modification by others, acts of god, or pre-existing wiring defects we did not replace as part of our scope.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes the consumer guarantees you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
6. Payment
Final invoices are due within 7 days of issue unless otherwise agreed in writing. Overdue accounts may attract reasonable late fees and recovery costs. Title in supplied goods passes to you on full payment.
7. Cancellation and rescheduling
You may cancel or reschedule a booking with at least 48 hours notice without charge. Inside that window we may charge for non-refundable supplier costs and the labour we've already scheduled. If we need to reschedule we'll give you as much notice as possible and work with you on a new date.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability under any single job is limited to the value of that job. We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses (lost income, lost data, etc). This clause does not limit any liability that cannot lawfully be limited under the Australian Consumer Law.
9. Privacy
Information you provide is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Victoria, Australia. Any dispute will be heard in the courts of Victoria.
